The Kauffmann-Bremin DT-2 is the newest housing from the original designer of the DTNVG. It serves as a true successor while offering a lightweight and extremely rugged platform. Built in Europe from high-density injection molded polymers, it provides a no-frills and ergonomic solution for both professionals and dedicated hobbyists.
Moreover, the DT-2 focuses on durability and simplicity, allowing users to operate confidently in demanding environments.

Design Improvements

The DT-2 borrows many proven design cues from the DTNVG. However, it significantly improves serviceability and user experience. The housing is easy to maintain and highly budget-friendly, yet it remains EU-made and built to strict quality standards.
Additionally, the articulating design offers smooth pod movement and a natural feel. The ultra-low stow angle also ensures a compact profile when the system is flipped up, which improves balance and reduces snag risks.
